How do you nail someone down to a big event like Valentine’s Day when you’ve just met them?
Should you hint at Valentine’s Day or how should you bring up the subject?
What else can you do to speed up the possibility of being asked out for Valentine’s Day?
1. Decide if you are looking for a hot date or a fabulous partner?
2. The 1st step to finding a great date these days is absolutely ONLINE. You’ll need to decide which sites to join and I suggest 2 or 3 at once so that you maximize your reach when you have a deadline.
A. Do you know how to create a really hot profile that gets attention?
The new secret is that 18 or more photos increase your chances by 300% on match.com. And you must use a gorgeous head shot, a flattering full body shot and if you’re a woman have your hair done and be careful about what you wear- I recommend solid colors that are bright, happy and sexy.
B. Make your profile engaging and connecting with language that draws someone in. Use the words “we” and “you” when you describe your ideal date instead of “I” and “ME, ME, ME!”
C. A few secrets to responding once someone has contacted you via a dating site are included in The 3 Paragraph Rule©. The 1st paragraph is all about their interests and the 2nd one is all about you, written to connect with what they’ve already written that they’re looking for. The 3rd paragraph is a request, a Call to Action. This might be; “if you like my profile please let me know if you would like to speak on the phone and I’ll send you my call or please send me yours.”
d. Please limit your emails to 3 before the 1st phone call and remember online dating manners. You do NOT reply to anyone who isn’t interesting to you.
E. On the phone be sure to exchange full names! Before you meet be safe by checking google Facebook, and Linked in as well as any websites you discover are connected to your upcoming date. It makes you more interesting as well as safe.
